(Off Street Parking) (Glebe Car Park, Bearsden) Amendment Order 2025
East Dunbartonshire Council, in accordance with their powers under s32 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, propose to consider the amendment of the East Dunbartonshire Council (Bearsden, Kirkintilloch and Milngavie) (Off Street Parking) Order 2016 to provide for the introduction of parking charges at Glebe Car Park, Kirk Road, Bearsden, G61 3RG. It is proposed that charges introduced at Glebe Car Park will be as set out in Schedule 1 to this notice.
Currently the chargeable hours in East Dunbartonshire Council car parks are between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, the Council is currently promoting a proposal to change the chargeable hours to between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday which can be viewed on the Traffic Regulation Orders page of the East Dunbartonshire Council website.

Order
The East Dunbartonshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 32 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Constable of the Police Service of Scotland in accordance with Part III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following Order.
- This Order may be cited as “The East Dunbartonshire Council (Off Street Parking) (Glebe Car Park, Bearsden) Amendment Order 2025” and shall come into operation on TBC.
- The Order specified in Schedule 1 to this Order shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in that Schedule.
