• Notes:East Dunbartonshire Council made the named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed sections of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works) on the lengths of roads detailed in the Schedule below, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
  
  As part of the works, the existing traffic signals will require to be switched off as required and rolling temporary traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required will be used to control traffic movements on the A803 Kirkintilloch Road between the access road to Morrisons supermarket and a point north of its junction with Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day. The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic in the area.

• Road affected: Brackenbrae Avenue between its junction with Pollok Drive and its junction with St Mary’s Road
• Duration: 9.30am until 6pm on Tuesday 8 April 2025
• Notes: All vehicles are prohibited except, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land when its safe and practical to do so during the works.

The alternative routes are by way of Brackenbrae Avenue, Pollok Drive, Novar Gardens, and St Mary’s Road, Bishopbriggs, these routes will be sign posted.

As part of the Scottish Water works, temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on St Mary’s Road at its junction with Brackenbrae Avenue, Bishopbriggs.

South Crosshill Road, Wester Cleddens Road, Woodhill Road, Menteith Avenue and Springfield Road, Bishopbriggs, will also be sign posted.

3. Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs, Closed between its junctions with the A803 Kirkintilloch Road and Kenmure Drive, Bishopbriggs

Alternative diversion routes will be by way of the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Brackenbrae Road, and Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs, and these routes will be sign posted.

As part of the works, the existing traffic signals will require to be switched off as required and rolling temporary traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required will be used to control traffic movements on the A803 Kirkintilloch Road between the access road to Morrisons supermarket and a point north of its junction with Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs.   There are no alternative routes.

• Reason for closure: Contractor carrying out various groundworks including the formation of a new access. These works are associated with the new Cala Housing Development presently under construction. There are also repairs being carried out on the existing former railway bridge on Chryston Road, due to corrosion discovered during the site investigation
• Road affected: Chryston Road, Fauldhead, at a location to the east of its junction with Market Road, Kirkintilloch
• Duration: Sunday 22 September 2024 until 6pm on 17 September 2025
• Notes: In order to prevent danger to the public arising from damage to the structural integrity of the bridge over the former railway bridge and for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, East Dunbartonshire Council will require to extend the existing temporary road closure on Chryston Road Fauldhead, between its junctions with Market Road, Kirkintilloch, and Sauchenhall Road/Muckcroft Road from 6pm on Sunday 22 September 2024 until 6pm on Friday 31 March 2025

• Reason for closure: Scottish Water repairs to damaged ironwork

• Road affected: Keystone Quadrant between its junction with Drumlin Drive and its junction with Braeside Avenue, Milngavie.
• Duration: 09.30am until 6pm on Tuesday 1 April 2025 
• Notes: Access to the closed section of road will only be maintained for emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works.

• Duration: 6am on Saturday 29 March 2025 for approximately six days.
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, the existing traffic signals will require to be switched off and temporary five way traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities will be used to control traffic movement on Strathblane Road at its junctions with Glasgow Road, Station Road, Baldernock Road and the unnamed access road to the flats just north of Station Road. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled from 7am to 7pm each day.

• Reason for temporary traffic management: SGN is to carry out repairs to a carriageway.

• Road affected:A81 Strathblane Road south of its junction with Moor Road
• Duration: 9.30am on Wednesday 9 April until 7am on Thursday 10 April 2025
• Notes: . In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Strathblane Road at the works location.  The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day. The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic in the area.

• Reason for temporary traffic management: Council Transportation is to carry out various works associated with the active travel corridor.
• Town: Milngavie
• Road affected: A807 Auchenhowie Road, between a point east of its junction with Finlay Rise and Alllander Toll Roundabout.
• Duration: 9.30am on Monday 4 November till 4 April 2025
• Notes: This work is associated with the A807 Active Travel Corridor project.
  The works area will be from east of the Rangers FC training ground to the Allander Toll roundabout. The works programme has been broken down into six phases, with each phase approximately 250m in length. In the interests of contractor and public health and safety, temporary traffic lights will be in place to manage the flow of traffic past each phase of work.
  In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, rolling temporary two, three and four way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Auchenhowie Road between a point east of its junction with Finlay Rise and Allander Toll Roundabout. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

• Reason for temporary traffic management: Network Rail is to carry out railway bridge works

• Road affected:B8048 Waterside Road at at its junction with Twechar Road at Drumgew Bridge, near Twechar 
• Duration: 9.15am until 4.30pm, each day, from Monday 24 March 2025 for approximately two weeks, then thereafter, from 8pm until 6am, each night/morning for an additional two weeks until Friday 18 April 2025
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary two/three way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times.

• Reason for temporary traffic restrictions: EDC Roads Operations is to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.

  Springfield Road, Bishopbriggs, Closed between its junctions with Arnold Avenue and the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs.  The alternative diversion routes will be by way of Muir Street, Emerson Road, Emerson Road West, Lee Crescent, Crowhill Road, the B812 Auchinairn Road, Colston Road and the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, and these routes will be sign posted
  
  Crowhill Road, Bishopbriggs, Closed between its junctions with the A803 Kirkintilloch Road and Emerson Road West, Bishopbriggs.  The alternative diversion routes will be by way of the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Colston Road, the B812 Auchinairn Road, and Crowhill Road, Bishopbriggs, and these routes will  be sign posted.  South Crosshill Road, Wester Cleddens Road, Woodhill Road, Menteith Avenue and Springfield Road, Bishopbriggs, will also be sign posted
  
  Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs, Closed between its junctions with the A803 Kirkintilloch Road and Kenmure Drive, Bishopbriggs.  The alternative diversion routes will be by way of the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Brackenbrae Road, and Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs, and these routes will be sign posted.

• Duration: 6am on Sunday 20 April 2025 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 4 May 2025
• Notes: Access to the closed sections of road will only be maintained for emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed sections of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works
  
  In addition, as part of the works, the existing traffic signals will require to be switched off as required and rolling temporary traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required will be used to control traffic movements on the A803 Kirkintilloch Road between the access road to Morrisons and a point north of its junction with Kenmure Avenue, Bishopbriggs.  The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

Notes: Alternative routes for pedestrian will be by way of existing footpath network within Luggie Park, the existing underpass near the A806 Initiative Road/Parliament Road, existing footways on Parliament Road, Townhead, and Freeland Place, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.
