When am I likely to get offered a house?
Allocation of council housing is based on housing need, the waiting time will depend on what house type, size and area you are queued for. We have 3 queues; Waiting list, transfer list and the priority list and we allocate approximately 250 Council houses per year between the 3 queues. 50% of lets are allocated to the priority queue, 30% to the transfer queue and 20% to the waiting list.
