Get active in East Dunbartonshire and you could earn rewards on the go – as well as being in the running for free leisure access and a refreshing cuppa.
If you walk, wheel, cycle, run or use public transport, download the BetterPoints app and register using your postcode.
Each eligible journey earns points which can be spent at participating local businesses or donated to charity.
Join the movement – and more than 600 registered users – sign up for the BetterPoints East Dunbartonshire challenge today.
As a bonus, a month-long, all-inclusive leisure membership will be given away every Saturday in February – courtesy of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture (EDLC) Trust – which can be used at the Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden, Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre or the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs.
On top of that, you can win a hot drink from the café every day at any of the three centres.
Complete at least 22 minutes of activity per day and you will be eligible for both prize draws. If you notch up seven days of activities during the week, you will have seven chances to win a cuppa and a month's membership.
To get started, download the BetterPoints app.
Councillor Jim Gibbons, Chair of EDLC Trust, said,
"Each eligible activity secures points which can be spent at participating local businesses, redeemed for vouchers at major retailers and hospitality venues or donated to charity."
