Employee News 2020, Issue 42 - RESCHEDULE Disruption to ICT Network and Softphones - Monday 15 June 

The internet bandwidth upgrade we advised of in Employee News 41 and which did not go ahead on Wednesday has been rescheduled for Monday 15 June at 8am.

As previously advised, there will be some disruption to Council services for up to 30 minutes as this essential upgrade takes place: 

  • For those currently working from home this will include no access to email through IBM Notes, no access to our Council network drives, no access to the softphone, no access to most of our operational systems and no access to the internet.
  • For those still working in the office there will be no access to the Internet and no access to hosted services such as CRM or SEEMIS until the upgrade is completed.

You should ensure that you are logged out of any systems and the softphone while the upgrade takes place.  An email will be issued to confirm when the upgrade has been completed.
