Early Years Consultation
in the villages of Torrance and Milton of Campsie
to shape the development of plans for delivering 1140 hours of funded early
learning and childcare by 2020
Early Learning and childcare across the country is going through a period
of transformational change over the next few years, to fulfil the Scottish
Government’s pledge to almost double the number of funded hours for eligible
children. This will allow families increased flexibility in choosing accessible,
affordable, high quality early learning and childcare. East Dunbartonshire
Council is working closely with Scottish Government, stakeholders and private
and voluntary sector funded providers to plan and implement services that
meet the needs of our children and families.
