If you wish to temporarily deposit building materials, rubbish or other items in a road you must have our consent.

A fee of £58 is payable. Please contact Customer Services for further information.
Eligibility criteria
You must comply with any conditions attached to a consent and comply with requirements relating to the fencing off and lighting of deposits or excavations.

If you wish to change a permit which allows you to temporarily deposit building materials, rubbish or other items in a road or make a temporary excavation you must have our consent.

If you wish to extend your permit to temporarily deposit building materials, rubbish or other items in a road or make a temporary excavation, you must have our consent.
Fee
A permit extension is issued at no charge on a monthly basis up to a maximum of 3 months from the date of your original permit. If you wish to extend the permit beyond 3 months you must reapply for a new permit and a fee of £56 will be charged.
