Important announcement

The Met Office has issued a Red Weather Warning for dangerous winds during Storm Éowyn which include the East Dunbartonshire Council area from 10am to 5pm tomorrow (Friday 24 January 2025).

First Minister John Swinney has told Parliament this morning that Police Scotland will shortly issue a formal "do not travel" advisory notice. As a result we have made the below changes to our operational services.

Free School Meals - There may be minimal disruption to menus from Monday 27 through Wednesday 29  January as a result of the cancellation of all planned deliveries on Friday 24 January. A hot meal will still be available, and the intention is to keep as close to the menu as possible, however, there may be a number of substitutes or alternative food choices on those days.

Early Years Payment – For those families who had paid for a session tomorrow, arrangements will be made to either recalculate their fee or, if appropriate, for a further session to be scheduled.
