      This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared outwith the Council.

    Preparations are well underway for the Covid-19 Spring Vaccination Programme which will run from 31st March to 30th June 2025. The eligible cohorts for the Spring Programme remain unchanged from last year and include:

    • Residents in care homes for older adults 
    • All adults aged 75 years and over 
    • Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed.

    The Health Board will run vaccination clinics in East Dunbartonshire in Milngavie Town Hall and Kirkintilloch Town Hall as before.

    Vaccinations will commence for residents in older Adult Care Homes on 7th April 2025 with vaccinations for housebound residents following thereafter.  These categories of vaccinations will be carried out by HSCP staff.

    In addition, the Mobile Unit (vaccination bus) will be at Hillhead Community Centre on Thursday 29th May and at Auchinairn Community Centre on Friday 27th June.

    Information regarding the availability of the mobile unit will be distributed to local GP’s, Pharmacies, Community Hubs, Churches, and local shops to ensure the public is well-informed.
