    1. Maree Todd MSP, Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport was heard in the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 23rd January in respect of the National Care Service (Scotland) Bill.
    2. The attached letter from Ms Todd provides information on the proposed changes to the Bill; including, the move away from establishing a formal National Care Service Board and the retention of the policy intent to introduce Anne’s Law enshrining the rights to visitors for people who live in care homes.
    3. HSCP and Council Officers will continue to engage with the COSLA and the Scottish Government on the revised intentions around the National Care Service and bring forth further information for members as available
