Section

  1. This is the latest in a series of Technical Notes to update Members on the ongoing planning and arrangements for the upcoming UK Parliamentary election.
     
  2. Members will be aware that Parliament was dissolved yesterday and so the countdown to the General Election has begun in earnest. 
     
  3. As advised previously, the timelines for the Election are very tight and there are numerous key dates which will be of interest to Members. 
     
  4. The Appendix to this Technical Note sets out dates and deadlines between now and polling day and includes the dates and times of scheduled Postal Vote opening session.
