Section

  1. This Technical Note is to update Elected Members on the number of clients on the 2024 Care of Gardens Scheme.
     
  2. The “East Dunbartonshire Forward in Partnership” – Strategic Planning and Performance Update report confirmed the decision of the East Dunbartonshire Council Joint Integrated Board, that the Care of Garden Scheme would cease following the end of the 2024 growing season.
     
  3. Following a meeting of the East Dunbartonshire Integration Joint Board (IJB) on 29 August 2024, a formal notice of the IJB decision to approve the recommendation to cease the delivery of the Care of Gardens Scheme after the 2024 season, was communicated to the Council.
     
  4. The undernoted table confirms the number of Care of Garden Clients as of 4th October 2024 broken down by East Dunbartonshire Council, Political Wards.
