Hillhead Community Centre was full to brimming at the weekend as the families and friends of the GRACE Collective came to see them perform ‘Oor Hoose O’er There’.

Depute Provost Colette McDiarmid was delighted to have been invited to the show, delivered in collaboration with Creative Spark.

GRACE (Group Recovery Aftercare Community Enterprise) is a local peer lead membership organisation and local charity providing recovery after-care for people who have experienced life traumas such as bereavement, ill health, loneliness and isolation, mental health issues and homelessness problems and also those who are settled in recovery from addiction to alcohol, drugs or gambling.

Depute Provost McDiarmid said, “The show was amazing and a huge hit with the audience. It was inspiring to hear the stories of some of the members of the GRACE Collective and to see them on stage was brilliant. It was a great night of joy, fun and laughter. Well done to all the stars of the show!”
