The hugely talented pupils from Douglas Academy’s Music School in Milngavie treated a lucky audience at St. Paul’s Church to a programme of festive music at their Christmas Concert.
The Music School is a unit within Douglas Academy where young musicians of exceptional ability continue their general education while receiving special instrumental tuition and extra time for their musical studies. And this concert was a fitting showcase for their talents.
There was so much talent on display by these fantastic young musicians and singers. What a show they put on with such a huge array of musical pieces.
"We are very fortunate to have them in East Dunbartonshire. My thanks to them and everyone at the Music School for a truly wonderful evening.”
Provost Renwick added, “I’m also looking forward to listening to them performing on BBC Radio Scotland on Christmas Eve. The programme starts at 11.30pm and will be presented by Rev Lynsey Brennan of St Paul’s Church.”
